Connector nodes are defined as the following:
Level 2 nodes – Hubs
- created when the ratio of nodes to hubs is greater than 10:1 for a x pixel radius.
Level 3 nodes – Junctions
- created when the ratio of hubs to junctions is greater than 5:1 for a x pixel radius.
These connector nodes are automagically created. When the tipping l1 node is created that fires the create connector node, the user is prompted to give a name for the new node.
if the user does not wish to name the node (unlikely) then the node will be assigned a human readable & memorable name from somewhere eg urban dictionary’s word of the day. NOTE it would be better if this could be somehow internally created so as not to rely on a service that is uncontrollable, ie a 5+ letter word selected at *random*
Hubnode styles.
Hubs inherit styles from junctions, user nodes form hubs, if implemented, this is a possible way to give districts their own feeling
